Steve McCurry: Afghan Girl PHOTO By Steve McCurry, Photo of an unidentified green-eyed "Afghan girl" Made in Philadelphia born American photographer Steve McCurry renowned documentary after being published on the cover of National Geographic in 1985. Afghan Girl image is one of the most famous in the world to put human face of brutal conflict.

After the film "Afghan Girl" was published in National Geographic, Steve McCurry has been signed for the prestigious Magnum photo agency, and has also been repeatedly recognized for Steve McCurry work.
