PMPML Pulls out another Rabbit from their Hat

Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal (PMPML) in a welcome move has come up with a helpline number and customer grievance cell in an effort to solve commuters' problems. This initiative can very well prove to be a blessing in disguise for over 13 lakh commuters who travel by PMPML buses every single day.

PMPML New Helpline Number"We thought it was necessary to form a body in Pune that will provide necessary information to commuters as well lodge their complaints. All credit goes to PMPML chief Dilip Band, who came up with this public-friendly decision. And the response has been encouraging till date. PMPML officials are busy registering complaints and providing information to callers," Shirish Kalekar, PMPML helpline and complaint in-charge said to a correspondent.

Next time you want any information or to register a complaint against any rude bus conductor, then you simply need to dial 24503355 or send an SMS to the cell number 9881495589.

"Helpline numbers are being issued in different newspapers to generate more awareness among the masses. We expect that people will take full advantage of this facility and help us to run the bus service in a more efficient way," Shirish went on to say.

Rajeev, a management student recently called up at the helpline number, and the attendant was polite enough to provide all relevant required information.

"I wanted to confirm the bus route from Aundh to Bavdhan, and I was glad and greatly impressed by the efficiency showed by the official on the other side of the phone. I am hopeful that this new idea will certainly prove to a boon for commuters who travel via PMPML buses" says [...]
