Windows Batch File (.bat) to get current date in MMDDYYYY format, add date to filename in batch file, Batch File Append Date To File Nm,

 

Add %date:~4,2%-%date:~7,2%-%date:~10,4%to end of file will append filename with date

 

IE-

Majiaai-%date:~4,2%-%date:~7,2%-%date:~10,4%.txt

 

Output -

majiaai-06-29-2012.txt
